After a long day at work, I decided to swing by The Bake Works in Northfield, New Jersey and wow I am so glad I did. This cozy little bakery is the kind of place that instantly makes you feel at home with its cute setup and mouthwatering displays.
I could not resist trying a few of their cake pops: cookie dough, chocolate Oreo, and red velvet. Let me tell you, each bite was pure magic. The outside had just the right crunch and the inside was incredibly soft, the perfect combo that melts in your mouth. I love cake pops, and these did not disappoint.
Their sugar cookies were tasty too, a little firmer than I expected but still satisfying.
But the real showstoppers were the chocolate-covered strawberries. 🍓🍫 Seriously, the chocolate on these was unreal, rich, thick, and decadent. I may have eaten them all on my way home with no regrets.
