Mandatory Mini camps are underway for The Eagles and one former Super Bowl champion is ready to come out of retirement for some future glory with the Green. NO, Jason Kelce has a new job and the future hall of famer is ready to make the tough adjustment away from the playing field. He's Chris Harris Jr.,a former All-Pro standout with the Denver Broncos and in 2015 a Super Bowl champion with the Broncos over The Carolina Panthers in Super Bowl 50. Harris also spent time with the Los Angeles Chargers (2021-22) and New Orleans Saints (2022). With additions of Saquon Barkley, Bryce Huff, Chaunce Gardner-Johnson Cooper DeJean and Quinyon Mitchell, the Birds nest is full and the excitement around the team is at fever pitch. Harris pointed out he worked well with current Eagles defensive coordinator Vic Fangio at Denver. However, with the top-end talent recruited in the off-season secondary including Isaiah Rodgers, Shon Stephens and Avonte Maddox, the likelihood of a retired past super bowl champ seeing game action is unlikely. It's also unlikely the Eagles would call Harris out of retirement to begin with but it certainly highlights the glow of the team around the NFL itself. Stranger things have happened, with unforeseen injuries and the presence of a former Pro Bowl veteran in the locker room and the community. GO BIRDS!"
