Ex Phillies manager Joe Girardi has a new job. He will rejoin the New York Yankees as a broadcaster. Girardi has officially signed a deal with the YES Network as an analyst for the 2024 season. The Yankees network has been a safe landing spot for Girardi previously, having first worked there in 2004 after his retirement as a player. In 2007, Girardi returned to the broadcast booth at YES after his managerial stint with the Florida Marlins in 2006. Asked if he would like one day to return to the dugout as a manager, he responded: "I do, but If I don't get a chance, that's ok too...I love broadcasting too."
