Sold Out!! Designer jeans that look pee-stained sell out

So, I shockingly learned today that I am a man who was way before my time! Not only did I rarely do laundry as a young guy in college (I didn't date much) and it carrying over decades to comments like: "you can't go out in those, they have a stain" now Jordanluca, a high-end menswear brand, featured a pair of jeans in their Fall/Winter 2023/2024 collection that look like regular jeans, except for the stains on the crotch that look like a pee stain. Sale price: $800.00. That's right! I was sitting on a gold mine all these years.. As you roll your eyes, the company in question reported a fast sell-out. While most normal folk are shaking their heads or laughing, fashion experts point to the latest trend of human psychology of showing how little they care. Where was this trend when I was doing my own laundry?? Fashion experts say the popularity of the pants shouldn’t surprise anyone because people love to show how little they care. “The basis of coolness is not caring,” says Lorynn Divita, associate professor of apparel design and merchandising at Baylor University. “I can’t think of anything that screams ‘I don’t care’ more than proudly wearing a pair of jeans that lets people think, at least at first glance that you've peed your pants." So for a cool $800.00 you can show off your keen individualism, status and ultra-coolness of not caring. I'm thinking, do these cool thrift stores which are also trendy today, know the gold mine they're sitting on?
