In addition to the best beaches accolade, the Wildwoods' Boardwalk has been recognized as the Best Boardwalk in the USA by USA Today. The boardwalk, famous for its two-mile stretch filled with amusement piers, waterparks, and eateries, continues to be a major draw for tourists. The Wildwoods also received recognition from NASDAQ's GoBanking Rates as one of the most affordable beach trips on the East Coast, offering value and memorable experiences.
According to WildwoodsNJ.com, the beaches are known for their soft white sand, providing ample space for both relaxation and activities like surfing, paddleboarding, and kayaking. The area is also home to a dog-friendly beach, ensuring fun for the whole family, including pets.
Louis M. Belasco, Executive Director of the Greater Wildwoods Tourism Improvement and Development Authority, expressed pride in the recognition, stating, "This distinction highlights what makes our destination truly special — five miles of beautiful, FREE beaches with a vibrant mix of attractions."
