Atlantic City has been ranked as the third most affordable beach town in the United States for homebuyers, according to Realtor.com's 2025 list. Known for its iconic boardwalk and vibrant casino scene, Atlantic City offers a median home price of $242,450, making it an attractive option for those seeking coastal living without breaking the bank. The city combines affordability with entertainment, featuring wide beaches, amusement parks, and high-end resorts.

The list, compiled by Realtor.com, highlights coastal towns with ample real estate inventory and lower-than-expected median list prices. The top spot on the list is held by Pascagoula, Mississippi, which boasts a median home price of $165,610. This Gulf Shore city is celebrated for its historic charm, waterfront homes, and revitalized downtown area.

Deerfield Beach, Florida, takes the second spot, offering a median price of $211,750. Located in Broward County, it provides a mix of urban and coastal vibes, with attractions like a "Blue Wave" beach and a 1,000-foot fishing pier. These towns, along with Atlantic City, highlight a mix of affordability, scenic beauty, and unique local attractions, making them prime choices for budget-conscious beach homebuyers.

NBC Philadelphia reports that the list was limited to two towns per state to ensure geographic diversity. While Atlantic City is known for its lively entertainment scene, it also offers a surprisingly livable environment with its wide public beaches and resort-style amenities.
