OK! It's officially summer and no more excuses for putting work on hold and enjoying a perfect beach day in Margate! Sun, sand and all the sights of summer at the Jersey shore spell "The Planet's Biggest Beach Party!" Margate Beachstock 2024 is free and encourages early pre-registration for beach volleyball at 8:15am at the Granville & Huntington Avenue beach on Saturday June 29th. The Margate Spring League Cornhole Championship will begin at 2:30 with registration beginning at 10am. The Wiffle Ball Home Run Derby begins at 11am with pre-registration beginning at 10am. Bryce Harper 'wanna-be's blasting home runs on the beach makes for an amazing beach party. Show your stuff! Contestants are encouraged to wear their team gear and put on a show! Their are lots of opportunity to show your athletic skills but also plenty of reason to just chill on the beach! Food vendors and the famous Beachstock Beer Garden along with the Tiki Beach Bar are at your service. For the kids, Hula Hoop fun, the Children's Eco-friendly Treasure Hunt and The South Pacific Island Dancers Interactive Activity & Limbo fun always makes for a great time at Beachstock. This year's movie on the beach is: Trolls, Band Together beginning at 6:45p. The Bonfire on the beach lighting begins at 8pm. Atlantic Records national recording artist KNOX appears for the headlining concert beginning at 9pm. Bring your most comfortable chair, blanket, umbrella and lots of "block" to keep your summer safe and rockin!
