Nothing screams summer fun louder than a free all-ages beach party! Bring your beach chair, blanket, and lots of sunblock as the sun will be blazing and ocean water refreshing at the 2024 Beachstock celebration on Saturday June 29th. WHY do I like being a part of it every year? From the early morning introductions of local dignitaries and the singing of the national anthem from the WZXL Main Stage to fun, games and musical entertainment in the night! This year, a national recording artist will be featured and making his first ever visit to Margate. Atlantic Records recording artist KNOX will be the headliner for the night time beach concert finale beginning at 9pm. A full day of full family entertainment and activities including Surf lessons, free Air Circus kite lessons and kids games all day on the beach.

The Margate Cornhole Beachstock Tournament promises a tough competition for prizes and beach prowess. Beach volleyball and the Wiffleball Home Run Derby begins at 11am with registration beginning at 10am. For the big kids 21+, The Beer Garden is ready to quench that beach day thirst while you chill by the water's edge. Food vendors and crafters and the Tiki Beach Bar on the beach for samplings and purchase promises to transport you into a surreal vacation paradise setting! OK, the highlight of my day? The WZXL Frozen T-Shirt Competition! Every year, 100.7 WZXL engages young and old with a challenge of strength and ingenuity to be the first to thaw a completely rolled-up frozen tee shirt for prizes! The competition begins at 12:30pm at the WZXL main stage. The first person to thaw out a shirt to be fully worn over the neck and through the arms is the winner! At 1:30pm, The South Pacific Island Tahitian Drums, Polynesian dancers, Samoan knife dance and Emerald Isle Irish Dancers shows us a taste of island paradise with full audience participation encouraged! So don't be shy. Live music on the beach is a must for the planet's largest beach party! Beginning around 2:30pm, The New Jersey British Invasion takes the stage playing all the hits of your favorite British bands! The bonfire on the beach begins at 8 and get ready for Atlantic Records national recording artist KNOX for the headline concert beginning at 9pm. Something for everyone from early morning to night at the world's largest beach party. Go to the Huntington Avenue and Granville Avenue beaches behind the Margate Public Library
