NFL Player Brings FREE Football Training Camp back to South Jersey

It's no secret, football still reigns as one of the most popular youth sports. But, educating players to learn the skills needed to compete at the highest level really should be priority number one. It's important to motivate players to "look beyond the score" and that's why professional NFL player Abdullah Anderson started the "Abdullah Anderson FREE Football Training Camp" for 3rd through 8th graders. In 2023, the camp was a huge success thanks to the Atlantic City Recreation's help.

So, Abdullah wants to do it all again, this time even bigger and better! The FREE football training camp will take place at Atlantic City High School on June 22nd and there are several events that occur under the training camp umbrella. But, hurry spots are limited and do fill up fast. See below for details on how to register!

Children will learn basic offensive and defensive football skills as well as drills from Abdullah Anderson himself and talented coaches from across the region. In the afternoon, high school football players are invited to the camp to experience a full standardized athlete combine and drills powered by Zybeck Sports.

Anderson is not only familiar with the game, representing some of the most well known teams in the NFL including Chicago Bears, Minnesota Vikings, Green Bay Packers, Washington Commanders and Atlanta Falcons...but he also grew up in Galloway and graduated from Absegami High School. He then went on to play College Football and graduate from Bucknell University in Pennsylvania...and the rest is history.

His dedication to his roots is apparent from his passion to this camp. "My goal was always to give back tot he community that raised me", said Anderson.
