Game on! Get ready! Record Fluke are biting! New Jersey angler Randy Ciprich of Sayreville hauled in the first doormat of the season as reported by The Asbury Park Press. The fluke weighed in at 13lbs. According to Phil Sciortino at the Tackle Box in Hazlet, Ciprich was fishing in 50 feet of water on Tuesday July 2nd. Creekside Outfitters in Waretown also weighed in their biggest fish of the season this week. The fluke weighted 8.7lbs and was caught by Mike Moscufo was was drifting the ocean outside Barnegat Inlet.
